Cash-strapped company faces declining demand for security services in Afghanistan and Iraq
Constellis Group Inc., a company whose roots date to the security-contracting firm Blackwater, has sold its flagship training facility to avert a liquidity crunch brought on in part by declining demand for U.S. government security contracts in Iraq and Afghanistan, according to a Moody’s Investors Service note and people familiar with the matter.
Constellis sold its training facility in Moyock, N.C., in the second quarter for $40 million.
